Universal Alternator /PMA Mounting Bracket Kit

Fits any alternator or PMA - Adjustable slots can travel to fit most alternator mounting bolt centers from 5.5" to 7.75" - Fits most Delco, Ford and big truck type alternators. Can accommodate alternators or PMAs with up to 9" bolt hole center spans if bracket is welded together. Bracket has over 12 mounting holes on the back side to accommodate any tails or wiring mounts.

This kits above are only recommended for turbines that have a 72" blade diameter or less and have a total blade weight of under 84 ounces. Blades must be perfectly balanced!)
NOTE: Not for use with pulleys, belts or any other side loads. This bracket is to be used for in-line thrusts only

No Slip Rings - Our advice on slip rings is to use heavy rubber cable and don't worry about twisted wire. Twisted wires in the pole are an overrated problem in small wind turbines. Heavy rubber wires tend to simply unwind when they are under tension and the head favorers turning in the opposite direction to effect unwinding. In all manufacturing testing slip rings eventually failed and required maintenance while over 100 small test turbines equipped with rubber welding cabal operated with exceptional dependability for over 12 years now and counting.
