| The following is an example of the parts
you would need for a well with a static water level of 60’. (The static water
level is equal to the vertical distance from the top of the ground to the top
of the water in the well.) As a rule of thumb, we set the pump cylinder approximately
20’ below the static water level. But, with many areas being hit with droughts we suggest that you go at least 40' below your static level. We have been hearing stories about water going lower than 20' in drought conditions. |
